Two of 2014's breakout stars, JOHN NEWMAN and JETTA, have joined forces for a very special spring tour. Both artists have been stirring up a groundswell of critical adoration and fan enthusiasm as well as shining online and at radio. They also represent the next phase of pop music, respectively merging soul, attitude, and unadulterated talent. The tour kicks off on March 27 at 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. with NEWMAN in the headline spot and JETTA supporting on all dates.
You might know NEWMAN from his platinum-certified smash "Love Me Again" or his jaw-dropping performances on the likes of NBC's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. However, his #1 album in the UK, Tribute, just dropped stateside, and it's been receiving rave reviews from the likes of The New York Times, who called him, "the inheritor of the flamboyant piano-soul-man tradition, in the vein of Mr. Joel and Elton John (even if piano isn’t really his instrument)" , while USA Today profiled him.
Meanwhile, JETTA gets out of control on her bluesy and bombastic debut single "Start A Riot". From the celebrated EP of the same name, the song was chosen as iTunes' "Single of the Week" in January, while her track "Feels Like Coming Home" fueled Google's Zeitgeist Worldwide commercial, which exceeds 30 million views and counting.
