IAMDYNAMITE return with their sophomore LP Wasa Tusa, out August 7 via Brando Records.

The follow-up to the 2012 debut album SUPERMEGAFANTASTIC, Wasa Tusa sees the Michigan-based duo of Chris Martin and Chris Phillips expanding their repertoire and experimenting in the studio to create a new brand of freewheeling pop.

“Our first record was more of a documentation of our live show,” explains Chris Martin. “This is our first record where the recording was the art form.”

Produced by Matt Novesky – who also produced the band’s debut record – Wasa Tusa features the sun-drenched debut single “In The Summer” (out now).

Today the band reveals “Be There” – the first track on the forthcoming album and an undeniable pop gem – exclusively via Earmilk (listen/share).

Drawing inspiration from 80’s pop pioneers such as The Police and Hall & Oates to early 2000 nu-rave revivalists such as Klaxons and Simian Mobile Disco, IAMDYNAMITE’s synth-driven rock and alt-pop hooks are as danceable as they are delicious.
