Erupting from Brooklyn's guts like a cultural vomiting fit, bbigpigg's ferocious SEWER-PUNK sound leaves audiences with ringing ears and the best kind of bad taste in their mouths. Mixing "noise" and "rock" in equal measure, bbigpigg's blunt, pulverizing knuckledusters crossbreed The Jesus Lizard’s airtight rhythm section with Arab on Radar’s haywire guitar-work, invoking an ugly, groove-heavy commotion far catchier than it has any right to be.
bbigpigg continues putting the world's original mad animal on blast with Din-Din, its new 4-song EP. Raunchy, violent and grotesquely comic, Din-Din captures the band veering from the monolithic noise-groove of "Chowtime" to the twisted, time-signature spasms of "Partydogs" with scathing intent. Din-Din will be released by Money Fire Records on July 24th.
LISTEN to Chowtime
Operating from their suitably scummy Bushwick headquarters, bbigpigg has been hammering away at warm bodies with tightly-wound blasts of hooky dissonance since 2010. Their debut Phantom Photography was released in 2011 on Canada's Not Unlike Records, with a follow-up cassette split with Designer on Bufu Records in 2014.
