BRIT-nominated star, Anne-Marie, and electronic mastermind, Marshmello, are delighted to announce details of their joint new single “FRIENDS,” available now on Warner Bros. Records.

“FRIENDS” marks one of the hottest collaborations of this year and has all the elements of yet another Anne-Marie global smash. Marshmello’s stellar, throwback production combines with Anne-Marie’s next-level vocals, buckets of sass and, of course, matchless humor to create a sonic masterpiece. Recorded at Sarm Studios at the end of 2017, “FRIENDS” is a continuation of a budding friendship – in 2016, Marshmello remixed Anne-Marie’s double platinum and UK Top 20 breakthrough hit “Alarm”.

Marshmello, the anonymous Producer/DJ, is taking the music industry by storm. Becoming one of the fastest rising dance producers in history, he has received over two billion streams and counting, making him one of Spotify’s Top 10 most-listened to artists in the world. Catapulting his career with his official remix of Jack U and Justin Bieber’s global hit “Where Are U Now”, Marshmello has gone on to collaborate with a wide variety of top artists, most recently with Selena Gomez on “Wolves”, which hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and clocked over 300 million streams. His previous single “Silence” feat. Khalid has also received over 300 million streams to date and his debut album ‘Joytime’, that released in 2016, reached the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Bolstering her place in pop’s hot property with her female-forward hits and co-signed to Major Toms/Asylum, former 3 x world karate champion Anne-Marie has collaborated with a wealth of household names over her career to date including Rudimental, a band whom she toured the world with as their lead vocalist for two years, and Clean Bandit. Featuring on the trio’s monster track “Rockabye” at the end of 2016, she spent nine weeks at the top of the UK charts which became the longest-running UK No.1 in 22 years!

Shooting onto the pop scene with her debut single “Alarm” [2016’s biggest-selling debut single release] after a plethora of early internet buzz, Anne-Marie followed-up with her one million-selling and UK Top 10 hit “Ciao Adios” last year. Showcasing her versatility and as a special Christmas treat to fans, the 5 x BRIT Award nominee gave us an emotional masterclass and a taste of her highly-anticipated debut album with her timeless track “Then” with an accompanying performance video at the end of 2017.

Anne-Marie will embark on a sold out UK tour in March including a show at London’s Roundhouse on March 22. Full tour dates for Marshmello and Anne-Marie can be found below.
