He writes about being young, love lost, overcoming hardship and never letting anyone or anything get in the way of following your dreams. By focusing on constantly improving himself as a musician, he's not only able to play guitar but also the harmonica, drums, pedal steel, mandolin and the banjo; skills he uses when writing and recording all the parts on his albums. Dylan isn’t a one-man show though; he has a live backing band joining him to bring his music to life. Together they’ve supported artists ranging from Lee Brice, Thompson Square and The Henningsens to Chance McKinney. In 2014 alone they've had the opportunity to participate in over a dozen fairs and festivals across the Northwest and have also been featured nationally on many TV and Radio stations.
“Put aside your want for a mixed country song with a pop feel to it and embrace what country should be comprised of, soulful lyrics and an acoustic guitar. Dylan brings back the classic sound while infusing his take on the country genre and the outcome is an ear pleasing tune” (TWSJ 2014). Dylan tours nationally throughout the year, both with his band and on acoustic runs. But don’t judge Dylan based on this bio, come out to a show and see for yourself what people are talking about. "I feel as though I'm in a place right now where the sky is the limit and I'm writing about anything and everything I can. I've never been more proud of the songs I'm creating and nothing would make me happier than showing them to as many people as possible."
